About Me

Elaine Catton

Owner / Manager

As a freelance writer and journalist, I had been working from home for nearly 20 years when I decided it was time for a change. Not only did I want to be able to close the door and forget about work at the end of the day, I also very much craved the company of others during the working day.

The idea for Comrie Workspace was born when Hut 14 at Cultybraggan came up for rent. I was immediately smitten by the idea of coming to work here every day, and it occurred to me that others might be, too – whether they normally work from home here in Strathearn or commute every day to work in Perth, Stirling or elsewhere.

I work in the automotive industry as a writer, journalist, communicator and translator under my name and also as White Pine Communications. I conduct all of my business online with my clients in Germany, facilitated by high-speed broadband courtesy of the guys at Bogons here on-site at Cultybraggan.

If you think coworking could be the answer for you, too, get in touch to find out more.
